    Greetings,

I have a very testy box that is using SAS drives with very specific drivers for the default CentOS 5.3 kernel included with the installation CDs. Any attempt to upgrade the kernel causes a kernel panic. I have excluded the kernel in yum, which works for the yum updates. When installing cPanel 'latest' it is updating the kernel and then a kernel panic on reboot.

Can someone point me in the right direction to exclude kernel upgrades during the cPanel latest installation?

    Thanks,

    Brian

Touch /var/cpanel/checkyum-keepkernel before running the installer. You will likely need to create the /var/cpanel directory first.
