kernel update problem

Hi all
when i tried to update kernel on server <rh 9> i get more error so i want to uninstall all kernel thats i installed and return install again can u help me quickly plz ..... another thing i would like kow how i know my prosessor kind i386 or i686.
i want to access server GUI. how i can do it ?!

u can answer one question not must answer all thanks for interestad
