I recently updated my server kernal with yum update. I then Gracefully Rebooted the server. Now when I perform an Security Audit I receive the following error.

"Kernel does not support the prevention of symlink ownership attacks. "

I previously had KernalCare Free Symlink protection turned on. Not sure how it could have been turned off. Should I run the script to enable it again?

Thank You.

We have the same problem in kernel-3.10.0-1160.45.1.el7. It says free patch is not supported.

I contacted Cloudlinux but couldn't find a solution.

I got a response from the Cloudlinux team and they stated that the problem is being worked on.
