With regards to /scripts/kernelcheck....
In looking at the script, it looks like the kernelcheck isn't being performed by that script any more? but by cpanel itself?
Also, how about adding a file name /etc/nokerncheck to bypass kernel checking?
I have some with smp kernels and /scripts/kernelcheck had always falsely listed a kernel as old because of the smp letters in the uname -r.
I'd like to ask the cpanel guys to write into the code, an allowance for the kernels that have the smp letters at the end.
