last night case study

    Dear All,

    I don't know it is happened only or all people that using WHM & cPanel.

    url: https://server.mydomain.com:2087
    username: root
    password: abc123

    normal user account
    website: http://www.myusernamedomain.com
    User cPanel: http://www.myusernamedomain.com/cpanel
    username: userabc
    password: 123456

    when I login to username: userabc with root password(abc123)

    I was successfully login but what I saw in it root account. even I use username userabc.

    Could all friend here give me idea about this?

    Are you asking why you are able to login as the cPanel user with root password? If yes, that's a Feature.

    In WHM > Server Configuration > Tweak Settings > System tab, at top theres an option you can set for who has access to a cPanel user account.
