Hi friends. I'm trying to install Cpanel in a Cloud Server and I got this error when I ran the file latest.

I'm confused, 'cause I already installed Cpanel & WHM in a virtual machine and I did not have this kind of trouble before.

Follow my system configuration:

Hardware:
Cloud (16 vCPUs)
Cloud HD 1TB
Cloud HD 1TB
Cloud RAM 56GB
CentOS 7 Linux for DDC

Q: I gave the permission on the file latest chmod u + x latest

Hello,

Are you logged in as the "root" user when running the "sh latest" command?

Thank you.

Hello Michael, thank you for the fast answer

By the way, I'm logged in as root. I got a virtual machine in my laptop running in VMWare and I ran the same command and it works perfectly. But the server was installed in HyperV. Have you ever seen this problem before?

Hello,

To update, advice was provided on the permission values of the bootstrap file, but we did not receive a response. Were you able to address the issue?

Thank you.

I just added 100Gb to my home directory. I have other servers in the same environment and they also display the same error when I try to install. The machine was installed in HyperV, I do not know if that makes any difference. I've already installed cPanel on a virtual machine configured in VMware and it worked perfectly

Hello,

To update, it looks like the installation failed because /home was mounted with the noexec flag. Remounting /home without noexec allowed the installation to proceed.

Thank you.
