We have since half a year a webserver managed with cpanel.

I have learned lots and understand the basics. But I realize there is much more to know to manage it securely and efficiently.

Being ready to take on this further step I would appreciate if somebody could give me some information about books, online tutorials or even seminars you would suggest.

The only book I know of for WHM itself is for version 10, so it would be very much outdated.

I do recommend browsing the forums occasionally to see what contemporary server maintenance practices are.

However, if you're looking for something a bit more along the lines of formal training, I do recommend the cPanel Conference. It takes place every year and goes well beyond the basics of administering a WHM server. You can read more about this year's cPanel Conference at Conference09
