    Hello,

    I am currently using cPanel version 72 with WHM Reseller access.

    In leech protection, there are two options for action after a user triggers excessive logins in a two hour period. One is to disable the account and the other option is to redirect the user to a specified page.

    If i choose to have a user redirected to another page, will that ALSO stop the user from logging in until the end of the two hour period?

    OR

    Can the user just go back to the login page and login?
    Does the redirect page act as a warning page or does it ALSO perform a blocking function?

    Appreciate any help.

    Hello,

    Sorry for double posting.

    So am i correct in saying this:

    Excessive logins during a two hour period will result in either

    Disabling of the account
    or
    Each login during the two hour period, after excessive logins, a user will see a page specified by me until the ban expires.

    @cPanelLauren

    Thank you for confirming my thoughts about leech protection and adding the link. I now understand the options better. You may mark this as solved, successfully.

    Have a good one.
