Lets Encrypt installation

Hello,

I want to install Lets Encrypt via SSH and with root.

Im following the steps as shown in this link: The Let's Encrypt Plugin | cPanel & WHM Documentation

But when im executing the command i get the following error:

W: Download is performed unsandboxed as root as file '/tmp/icryYmBBEx/partial/cpanel-letsencrypt-v2_1.04-1+2.1.cpanel_amd64.deb' couldn't be accessed by user '_apt'. - pkgAcquire::Run (13: Permission denied)

Maybe one of you guys know a solution for it?

Hey there! I was not able to reproduce this issue on a new Ubuntu installation. Can you check the permissions on /tmp on your machine? They should look like this:

drwxrwxrwt  13 root   root    4096 Dec 19 16:31 tmp/

Fixed it! cause of this : New Thread - SSL via Lets Encrypt installation problem
