My license stopped working today with this error:

    Code:
    Updating cPanel license...Done. Update Failed!
    Error message:
The cPanel license server replied that the license has been activated on too many machines.
    Please contact billing@cpanel.net

The exact message was: The license has been activated too many times on different machines.

    --------------

Servint tech support said they contacted cPanel to solve the issue 6 hours ago and are still waiting. How long does it take to resolve this issue?

    Thanks for any info.

Ok that says 6am to 6pm for customer service. Would Servint (my web hosting co.) use that for tech support? because they are telling me cPanel Tech Support is 24/7. I am just trying to get a handle on the facts. thanks for any info.

:))) good joke, guys you should review your internal structure to manage such situations better, because in this case all access to a server in production can be locked and this is a technical problem who generate financial damage.

    Hi @chiareu,

This type of concern is better addressed via a support ticket so we can more accurately determine the specific reason your cPanel license was locked. Feel free to open a support ticket if you have not yet done so and we can provide you with more information.

    Thank you.
