Limit Accounts to X Mbps

    Hi,

    Is there anyway, with a module of any kind, to create an account and limit it to 1Mbps (burstable to 5Mbps or something maybe). I don't know. Any suggestions welcome please.

    as far as I know.. No I don't think so.

    A possible solution to this problem is that you could put the specified user on a Private Ip, then use some trafic analistic tool on that IP that could limit the bandwith.

    Otherwise.. I have no idea

    I think you can throttle bandwidth, dunno about cpanel software though...

    Yup, you can do this with one of:

    mod_bandwidth
    mod_throttle

    The latter is probably the better Apache module.
