    Hi,

i have search everywhere(almost) such as google, apache and php site
but could not find an answer to my question,

is it possible to configure apache to allow a limited connection per second per ip addesses?

also which module to install such as a mod that look pass proxy server?
like one doing a fulltrace or something?

not such it's part of whm or cpanel, but it would be highly appreciated if someone here would help!

    Regards

The "limitipconn" module do limit number of simultaneous connections from an IP but does not involve a feature of limiting connection per second per ip addesses. However, if you want to limit connection per second per ip addesses, you can try iptables.

Hi, i did install mod_iplimitconn, but it did not work out too well, once connection limit reach, it just display a big fat usless white blank page.... lol...
as this site request about 4 php pages minimal excluding images, images was excluded from limit but, it did not work as well.

and i cant get it to work with other mod that check pass proxy....

messing with iptable is messy and keep crashing server due to overloaded resources.

so i might be left with some hardware alternative, like a better cisco firewall router or something....

anyone has any take on that?

    Regards
