    Greetings everyone -
I am wondering is there a way to limit the cpaddons to some clients.

For example - We want some scripts not to be available to clients w/ the Bronze Package - but available to others w/ the Silver.

Some scripts are available to everyone -
Does anyone know how to make this possible?

    Thanks

At this time, the only way I know to effect this is to use moderation for cPAddons.

However, you are welcome to submit a feature request for this to http://bugzilla.cpanel.net

The feature list would work for software that wasn't managed by the cPAddons framework, for example in X and X2 where applications were listed on the main page of the cPanel interface rather than listed in to a "Site Software" or "CGI Center" section.

    hmmm

I will submit a request... for sure
The issue I am thinking with moderation is as follows

We want those that have the application to be able to install without us needing to say its okay...

I am wondering about that x2 x theme portion...

This system is almost where we need it :)
once its there we can finally dump out the other control panels we have...

    :)

Yes, when you build your own cPanel Plug-ins, you can set those up in feature lists. Different feature lists can then be applied to different packages (gold, bronze, silver etc.).

As for an official referral regarding someone you can hire, we do not have such a referral at this time. However, I have seen a few ads in the Jobs section of these community forums for such programmers that seem to have received responses.
