Other than CloudLinux, you could also consider RLimit for DSO and suPHP handlers, FcgidMax and FcgidMin limits for FCGI, and mod_perl's Apache2::Resource for CGI. These are only taken into account for Apache usage, though.

Another option for global consideration of various services to limit would be prm which is at this location:

Hmm, well thank you for PRM link. But is there a way to just limit used resources for a single user/account directly in WHM/CPanel? Like Plesk have?

Any suggestion greatly appreciated!

Hello :)

There are no native options available in cPanel/WHM that will allow you to limit a specific user based on resource usage. However, as Tristan mentioned, you may want to look into CloudLinux:

Thank you.

They should. You should be able to limit resources from WHM on the admin side, at least for what is possible today. And the user should also be able to monitor this on this cPanel side. Please see my topic in the Cloud Linux section where I talk more about this and the future of cPanel.

Cloud Linux is nice, but its not the way to compete vs Plesk. cPanel should have native features which approach them more to an isolated pay per use model.
