My results from logwatch yesterday are showing somebody trying to login to an email address 113 times.

Can I limit this, say, to 9 times.. and then you get a temporary ip ban?

As well, can port 25 / 26 be disabled in the firewall without affecting mail delivery or sending? I presently connect on 995 with SSL checked.

have you installed the great "csf" stuff from http://www.configserver.com/cp/csf.html

that normally kickes people who attempt email log ins by 10 attempts.
