    Hi,
is there a way by which we can limit the maximum size of backup a user can take, for example if we set this limit to 2GB, a cpanel account user will not be able to make a .tar.gz file bigger than 2gb

    Please recommend

    Hello :)

There are no native options that will exclude accounts from backups based on their disk space usage. There is an active feature request for this at:

    Limit Backups By Disk Space

Feel free to vote and add your input to this feature request. In the meantime, you can manually disable the backup feature using a feature list for accounts that use large amounts of disk space. Also, for backups configured in WHM, you can add a user to the excluded list by using the "Select Users" option in "Backup Configuration".

    Thank you.
