Hey, Ive searched a while now and I hope that some of you can help my with this question.
I have a site, it has cpanel, and now I want to add another FTP user.
Ok that worked out well, but now I want to limit this new FTP user with 100 mb of storage, is this possible ?
I have 1 gb of hosting, but I dont want him to use it all, so I wanna restrict it to 100 mb.

Thx alot

what ftp do u run on the server ? proftp or pureftp ?

In case of pureftp; there is a file at /etc/pureftpd.conf

Inside it is a part as below:
===============
# Enable virtual quotas. The first number is the max number of files.
# The second number is the max size of megabytes.
# So 1000:10 limits every user to 1000 files and 10 Mb.

#Quota 1000:10
================
enable it and u can do what you want; But remember that this is a server-wide setting and the root user needs to do it.

Else you need to check for any .htaccess directive (not sure if it is there) to tweak for a user.
