    Hello,

I have just discovered (pretty late hah) /etc/security/limits.conf. I have set few parameters for two users but as it looks it is not working. I have set parameters very low so it should work but as much as I can see it is not working. I have set parameters exactlly as described in that file. Do I have to do something else? From description it is a very nice option coze you can limit particular user if that user is consumeing lots of resorces.

I would appreciate any help about this limit option. Is it enough just to set parameters within that file or is it necessary to do somethin else?

    Regards, Erik
