This question really doesn't pertain to cPanel itself but It'd figure I'd give it a shot.

    I have a 4Gb tar.gz file on my server

    -rwxr-xr-x 1 ironic ironic 4479176335 Sep 30 09:46 v.tar.gz*

The user ironic can see this file when logged into SSH
However, Apache and ProFTPD cannot see this file. Which means I cannot download it.

Any suggestions on what could be causing the issue and how to fix it?

    Go on, have a guess
They cannot read it because of the permissions on the file, try and chmod it to 644 instead.

    I tried that as well

    -rw-r--r-- 1 ironic ironic 4680857600 Sep 30 11:14 v.tar.gz

I have tried moving the file to different user directories and its still not viewable

However, (not suprisingly) I can see the file using SfTP(but the transfer rate is poor)

I have tried every permission from 644 to 777 . My Apache is set to run with suExec so all executions are run as the user.

    Any suggestions?
