Looks like a great addition but how do we get it to work with IPs already assigned to nameservers.

I have tried going into the reseller center and assigning IPs again but it just pops up and tells me that name server already has an IP assigned etc.

List Assigned Name servers Ips still just shows blank.

Is it not done yet? Still got bugs to work out?
Or will it only show the ones I assign from now on, not past ones?

So many questions so little time:p

It gets all but one set of nameservers on my server.

WHM has never kept a database of reseller ips until now. It is using 3 things to build its database.

1. DNS lookups
2. WHM history information
3. whois on the ip in question

This proves to be very effective, however if the nameserver doesn't have an A entry and it is not in the whois database, it is probably not going to find it. There might be some minor tweaking I can do to it, but I can't promise anything besides having to manually edit the list. Please contact [email protected] and I'll be happy to see what I can do to get this feature tweaked a bit.

Thanks Nick

I got it to work but is there anyway to edit it the list now?

I have a couple of namesevers that have not fully propagated and it assigned the wrong numbers to them.

Or will this fix itself once the resellers nameservers proagate?

I too am having same problems. Can anybody explain to me the function of &Manage Nameserver IPs& ? Is it only administrative or does it affect the DNS zones too ?

I have a couple of domains, whose Namservers are now interlinked with different IPs. So thats not good. I just want to know is there any way I can set em straight ?

e.g; Ns1.xxx.com - IP has exchanged places with Ns1.yyy.com IP
the IPs have changed in the Manage nameserver IP section. I would really appreciated any more insight in this matter.
