I need a step by step instruction on how to make a cPanel Apache system listen on multiple IPs for a single domain.

The reason is for SSL installation - the site is on a shared IP currently, so I have to move it to a dedicated IP. This requires a DNS change which will create a brief outage. To avoid this outage, I'd like to have the server listen on multiple IPs simultaneously for this domain. Once the DNS is finalized, I can remove the first IP. But I cannot figure out how to do this.

The file /var/cpanel/userdata/accountname/domain.com has one line with:

    ip: 1.2.3.4

I tried adding a second IP to the right of that with a space but it just broke the whole site.

    Hello,

While it's supported by Apache 2.4, I don't believe cPanel/WHM will recognize multiple IP addresses assigned to a single Virtual Host. I recommend opening a feature request if it's an option you want to see configurable in WHM:

    Thank you.
