litespeed and memcache

Hi,
I just installed recently memcache on my cpanel. I could also install Litespeed? Both are compatible and could work together ?

Hey there! They would be compatible, but Litespeed has an even better option here:

The versions of PHP listed in their installation commands are slightly out of date, but you would just need to adjust those to reflect the PHP versions you have installed on your system.

Ok I noted that. And if I take package cpanel Litespeed and have to choose I am very ok to remove memcache completely from my cpanel.

If you wanted to try using that you do need to leave the Memcached packages on the server:

"To use object cache, you can install Memcached, or LiteSpeed's version of Memcached, LSMCD. To work with Memcached or LSMCD memory cache daemon, you will also need to enable the php memcached extension."

Ok so another question : 'Litespeed' OR 'Litespeed + memcache' is better ??

That's one you would have to test and find out for yourself - I never believe there is a "better" or "best" but only that there are many options to fit the different needs of different users.

I though you ll say Litespeed (as Cpanel have Litespeed package)
My need is very ordinary. Wordpress. Cpanel Solo. Private & dedicated. Voila.

If that's the case I'd just try Litespeed itself first to see if that gets you the performance increase you're looking for.

cPanel doesn't configure or distribute that plugin, so you'd want to reach out to the LiteSpeed team to see if they had official removal instructions.
