Hi i'm a new user of Cpanel software, and creating a new web site I installed Joomla, but I erase Public_html folder and copy the joomla files located in my local drive.
Since then the site never work again.
So I enter the cpanel to erase the older joomla installation. push erase and it seems to work but when I start again the joomla installation process says: could not complete the installation

You can not install more than one script in a domains root folder.

    Please help me

Easiest thing is to just ask your web hosting provider to restore from a previous backup or just to recreate your account from scratch.

or simply create public_html folder with owner <USER>.nobody, if that was all that you deleted.
