    hello,

Is there a way to point local domains to an account?

THe reason is , we use a cpanel server for internal websites as well which are also accessible from home.

When people type in domain at work it will resolve to our server, and domain.com the same

however, the apache cant see that and usually goes to our default page.

Is there a way to not add a fully qualified domain?

Hmm, sounds like you're using names that are not actually published to the Internet. In such a scenario, you may wish to consider distributing the appropriate etc/hosts file.

As far as adding FQDNs, yes- you can create subdomains as accounts.
