Despite Local Exchange being set, can't email from domain to domain on same server

Despite the Local Exchange servers both being set, we can't email from domain to domain on the same server.

Does anyone have any thoughts on a potential fix?

What is the exact error that you see? What do you see in /var/log/exim_mainlog when you try to send a message?

(Apologies for posting twice I only found this thread after posting to the first.)

I do not have the specifics from the user at present but historically whenever we have not been able to mail other domains we own it's been down to the exchangers being set on Auto.
