Woke up this morning to a bunch of this:

This is exceeding 8192 pixels and color palette issue may be expected when its associated sprite file is used:
"/usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x3mail/branding/motor_city/ui_sprites_bg_snap_to_smallest_width.png".
error: invalid time
lveps version 1.2 release 5.el6.cloudlinux
usage: lveps [-p] [-n] [-o <fmt1:width1,...>] [-d] [-c <time>] [-s <style>] [-t] [-h]
-p to print per-process/per-thread statistics
-n to print LVE ID istead of username
-o to use formatted output (fmt=id,ep,pid, tid, cpu, mem,io)
-d to show dynamic cpu usage instead of total cpu usage
-c to calculate average cpu usage for <time> seconds (used with -d)
-r to run under realtime priority for more accuracy (needs privileges)
-s to sort LVEs in output (cpu, process, thread, mem, io)
-t to run in the top-mode
-h to print this brief help message
I'm just trying to figure out what the server was trying to "do" that it through those errors.

You left off the start of the line, it looks something like this:

[2013-03-11 03:01:55 -0400] info [rebuild_sprites]
The "info" part means its just informational and, IMHO, can be ignored/normal.

This:

Separate issue I believe.

The preceding lines were all a bunch of different images, the absolute very first line(s) that proceeded the sprite problems was, and I see this quite often in the cpanel/logs/error_log file:

As for the "error: invalid time" portion, that's (no timestamp) right after all the sprites entries.

My cpanel error log is filling with hundred of errors like:

This is exceeding 8192 pixels and color palette issue may be expected when its associated sprite file is used:
"/usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x3mail/branding/crimson_smoke/heading_sprites_bg_snap_to_smallest_width.png".

What file I have to reduce the size in order for this error to go away?

Regards,

Sergio
