Hello,

I would be interested if there is some log for backups made by end-users. Or some other way to determine when/who made a backup from cPanel (others than the full server backup made nightly by server).

Thanks!

There is no specific log file where backups generated by a user via cPanel are recorded. You can find limited information on this action in:

Code:
/usr/local/cpanel/logs/access_log
/usr/local/cpanel/logs/cpwrapd_log
However, it's not going to list the information in a friendly format. I recommend opening a feature request for this via:

Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks...I was already grepping through access_log. It seems I need to look for "dofullbackup" to determine the full cP website backups. I am not sure if I am not missing something though.

As for cpwrapd_log...I don't think I have ever seen a log until now that doesn't contain at least a date for each entry, let alone a time stamp. Funny log...can't imagine what is it good for. Pity...otherwise it'd have been close to what I was looking for.

Regards!
