Log server load

    i was wondering if anyone can tell me how i would log the server load to a file say every 15 mins so i can then asses busy and quiet times ?

    i would have a look at the phpsysinfo scripts... i think you can call upon their information...

    once you have found the variable needed, then you can assign the output to an sql database :)

    (sorry, i would look for the code for you, but im a usless programmer lol)

    that looks good- will examine it to see if i can save to a database
    is there a way to use top to save just the information i want to a text file
