I have enabled Logaholic, but I am getting this when I try to access it from a client cpanel:
    ------------------------------------
    HTTP error 401

The page was found, but you don’t have permission to access it.
    ------------------------------------
the Page Title is "cPanel login"
    URL:

I have looked at file permissions, and everything seems fine.

This is the log entry from access_log:
    xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - userid [02/27/2012:17:06:05 -0000] "GET /3rdparty/Logaholic/index.php HTTP/1.1" 401 0 "" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.27) Gecko/20120216 Firefox/3.6.27"

    Any ideas?

Not sure this is important, but are you accessing as the actual user?

Yes, I'm logged in as the user, and I have tried it with several accounts.

    WHM 11.32.0 (build 1)
    CENTOS 5.7 x86_64 standard

I do have CSF firewall installed.

I am seeing the same issue on Centos 6.2, no CSF Firewall - did you get a fix or should I raise a ticket too?

The link for logaholic on my server is:

With or without the cpsess stuff, your link is different than mine. Why is that? Are you using some sort of custom theme, or RVskin maybe?

BTW, there is a message about not being able to view this page when logged in as root and accessing a users cPanel.

I have just checked and it looks like it goes to /frontend/x3/logaholic/index.html for a split second before forwarding to /3rdparty/Logaholic/index.php

I have never used anything except the standard skin on this server. There is very little in the x3 logaholic folder except a script that handles redirection.

That's what I get for not checking this properly before posting, my apologies. I did not login as regular user to check the URL once the page itself opened. :/

I just did, the page does forward and logaholic opens for me here.

Yes, I think you should. If you do, please post back the ticket number here I'd like to follow that ticket on my end.

I haven't had time to check up on this and it looks like it has resolved itself. I wonder if it is something to do with when it is enabled. I did do a manual run of the stats for the site I was trying to access but maybe it needs to wait for a full nightly run before it gets turned on properly?

Well the data might not be there to fill things in, but the software itself should have installed and be accessible I would think.

    *shrugs*

Either way there's not much point in me raising a ticket because the problem isn't there any more. I had a brief look at the software and read something about funnels. There seems to be some decent functionality in it but it'll take some time to look at.

I have the same 401 error after I choose to enable it. So obviously there is a bug. The last thing I need is someone activating stats and getting an error. Just unecessary.

    Centos 6 64bit, csf firewall.

If you are getting 401 (or other errors), you can also try the following:

    mv /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/Logaholic /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/Logaholic.old
    /usr/local/cpanel/bin/update-logaholic --force
    service cpanel restart
