Logging Incoming/Outgoing Mail

Hi all, i was wondering whether it was possible, with 3rd party software to log a text based database/flat file of all the incoming/outgoing mail by colleuges.

it would be wonderful if the log would log times, dates, text based message, sender and the receiver. (and possibly attachments)

I'd be highly greatful if someone could point me in the right direction, as the company would like to log mail so that colleuges are not sending unwanted company information out to customers etc.

Not sure about logging, but MailScanner is a pretty simple way to copy all incoming/outgoing mail to a third location.
