Anyone.... I'm in need of a directory listing or a login to a cpanel server so I can check user/group ownership of mysql/mail/system files... our server is f*cked up and the only reason is a lot of wrong ownerships (mistyped chgrp command...)

tnx for any reply

Is it technically possible to get a shell login by which I could only do 'cd <xx>' and 'ls -l' ?? :) All I need!

I am not sure if I understood your request/question! Are you looking for a command to list the content of a directory? If yes, at the prompt run:
- to change to a directory:
cd /LOCALPATH/DIRECTORY_NAME
for example: cd /var/lib/mysql

When you cd to the abover directory, you can list the content:
ls -al

I need to do this on another server ;-) To check out the group ownership of a lot of files, to match and correct them on our own server, to get things working again :s

But I can't get my hands on a login for another server or a directory listing of important maps.. :(
