    I don´t receive logwatch reports in root, and I can find a cron in cd /etc/cron.daily ... how can I see if logwatch is installed in my server and how can I create the cron? Thank you very much!

    You can or you can't find a job in /etc/cron.daily?

    If it's not there, create a file in /etc/cron.daily/logrotate and add:
    Code:
    #!/bin/sh

    /usr/sbin/logrotate /etc/logrotate.conf
    EXITVALUE=$?
    if [ $EXITVALUE != 0 ]; then
        /usr/bin/logger -t logrotate "ALERT exited abnormally with [$EXITVALUE]"
    fi
    exit 0
    You can then run it manually to make sure it goes through OK:

    /usr/sbin/logrotate -vf /etc/logrotate.conf

    Sorry for my wrong information and thank you very much! I can´t find the 00-logwatch@ cron in /etc/cron.daily, I think this is the cron that generates the report of logwatch. I don´t receive logwatch reports in root address and I don´t have the /etc/log.d/conf/logwatch.conf

    How can logwatch disappear? :)

    Simplest to install it again from source:

    Code:
    rpm -Uvf --nodeps --force ftp://ftp.kaybee.org/pub/redhat/RPMS/noarch/logwatch-6.1.2-1.noarch.rpm
