Logwatch

    Hi all,,

    I receive logwatch email every day. How to stop receiving this email? I have linux server with Apache.

    Could any one help me please.

    Root Administrator
    Assume you also don't want logwatch to run? Do "rpm -e logwatch". If you want to simply shut off email notification then remove the logwatch cron job from /etc/cron.daily.

    It does beg the question as to why you would not want to receive the logwatch email? It's a valuable tool in the administration of your server and you should be reading it and acting on any anomolies - it's the least of your server logging that you should be watching - unless of course you are not the server administrator, in which case you should route roots email to whoever is.
