Long mysql process - should I be worried?

Any ideas why I've got such a long mysql process running? It's not effecting server loads but does seem a bit long - currently at over 8 hours (since last restart) but have seen it for 36hours+

In WHM process manager it says:

/usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir=/ --datadir=/var/lib/mysql --user=mysql --log-error=/var/lib/mysql/my.hostname.net.err --open-files-limit=8192 --pid-file=/var/lib/mysql/my.hostname.net.pid
I guess it's logging an error - anyone know how I can investigate it and should I be worried?

Also to discuss the error log path, that path is where it logs errors whenever it has any (/var/lib/mysql/my.hostname.net.err). It isn't necessarily currently logging any errors, it's simply indicating the path to where it will log errors when any occur. You want those error logs in case MySQL crashes so you can see what happened.
