After upgrading to cPanel 11 my mail is now broken. When WHM attempts to send email to me to notify me of an account creation, it does not arrive and I see this in the log:

lookuphost router failed to expand "$perl{mailtrapheaders}}"

This is not just a WHM issue, my Client Exec installation on the same machine cannot send mail for the same reasons. This effectively puts my support system out of commission.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Thank you

Thanks for the quick reply, but no go. In fact, there are many more errors all perl related.

lookuphost router failed to expand "$perl{mailtrapheaders}}"
failed to expand condition "$perl{check_deliver}
failed to expand condition "$perl{checkbxdeliver}
failed to expand condition "$perl{checkbxautowhitelist}

etc....

every time a piece of mail comes in.

perl -v
5.8.7

cPanel techs are in looking at it now. Wow fast....!

Edit: OK, that was insanely fast. There were two techs logged on to my box within seconds of submitting my ticket. Problem is resolved now - Exim failed to upgrade on my system because my RPM database was corrupt.

Awesome support, thanks.
