I have an account that I need to zip the files in the public_html folder for. Whenever I try to do so the zip function takes a very long time and then errors with repeated instances of zip warning: name not matched:wiki/wiki/wiki/wiki/wiki/wiki, etc. over and over again until finally ending in zip error: Out of memory (local_to_wide_string).

When I SSH into the folder I see that I seem to have two identical links:

lrwxrwxrwx 1 angcatec angcatec 26 Jul 4 2018 wiki -> /home/angcatec/public_html
lrwxrwxrwx 1 angcatec angcatec 26 Jul 4 2018 Wiki -> /home/angcatec/public_html

Any idea how I can fix this issue? Would removing one of those help?

If I tell cpanel to run a full backup of the account it completes with no problems.

Hello @maestroc,

Can you confirm how you are attempting to create the zip archive? For instance, are you using a specific command, or are you using cPanel >> File Manager?

Thank you.

Hello @maestroc,

Could you open a support ticket so we can take a closer look at your system to see what's happening? You can post the ticket number here once it's opened and we'll link this thread to it.

Thank you.
