    Hi,

I lost the password of an e-mail account. Is there a way to recover it instead of changing it? I need this password for other things too. But I forgot it.

If your password is saved, let's say in an MS application such as Outlook/Outlook Express, Word, IE, then it is possible to decrypt the password. There are good number of applications that you can purchase to decrypt a password (MS Windows wise). Now, MD5 Encryption cannot be decrypted. It is a one way hash function; I could be wrong but the same is true for SHA-1 as well.
