lots of /usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir=/ --datadir=/var/lib/mysql --user=mysql

    hi
    in our server
    there are lots of connections to mysql likewise below

    /usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir=/ --datadir=/var/lib/mysql --user=mysql --pid-file=/var/lib/mysql/domain.com.pid --skip-locking

    /usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir=/ --datadir=/var/lib/mysql --user=mysql --pid-file=/var/lib/mysql/domain.com.pid --skip-locking

    /usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir=/ --datadir=/var/lib/mysql --user=mysql --pid-file=/var/lib/mysql/domain.com.pid --skip-locking

    /usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir=/ --datadir=/var/lib/mysql --user=mysql --pid-file=/var/lib/mysql/domain.com.pid --skip-locking

    .......


    is this an error, there are 20 connections
    could you explain the meaning of it

    it is your mysql server running

    login to your server as root shell and execute:

    mysql
    show processlist;

    to get you an idea what are the MySQL query is running at your MySQL server.

    You may also grab mytop which is a real time monitoring MySQL query for your server.
