It's been a while since I've checked out developments here at cPanel. I have been waiting all summer for HostGUI to be released, but it looks like it has been delayed once again. My major complaint against cPanel in the past has been the way it looks. Well imagnine my suprise when I come to the site and see a totally professionally designed site, and when I saw the cPanel 8 demo. Awesome work guys! I have one question though. Where has AWStats gone? That's the best stats program on the open source market, and it just keeps getting better. PLEASE put it back in. Put it in for subdomains as well, just as you have done with Webalizer and Analog. 5.8 is a stable release.

By the way, I love the new features.

AWSTATS is present on Cpanel 7.x . I haven't heard that it will be removed and really don't see the reason. Maybe it's just not active in the demo you have tried. Although others may know better if awstats will be on with Cpanel 8. I'm still on cpanel 7.

they probably removed it in the demo as that can put a load on the server if you have everyone clicking UPDATE NOW in the demo

Good news. I'm glad it hasn't been removed. One more question. Will it AWStats be updated by the time cPanel 8 is released?

My host just upgraded to 8.5.3. The AWStats version is now 5.7, instead of 5.6. Why can't we have 5.9? Please!
