Hello,
i have a question. Some time ago i was operating on a Vps with some accounts.
All them had "Shell Access". I was able to set a cronjob (from an Account Panel) with command Lynx -dump.
Now i setup a new vps WITHOUT Shell Access and when i try to run cron it says me:
Lynx file "/etc/lynx.lss" is not available.
So i tried with WGET and seems to work.
What is really changed??? Shell Access miss can lock this command?
Because i was reading that by default Cpanel install itself those commands and make them operative :confused:

Hello :)

This is the intended behavior for accounts configured to jailshell or noshell. You can find more information on the jailed shell environment that's used for cron jobs at:

VirtFS (Jailed Shell)

Thus, granting an account full shell access or using "wget" instead of Lynx are both valid workarounds in this scenario.

Thank you.
