    Hello :

I have a client who needs to get magento installed and he came across this script on the net Magento Installer for cPanel (BETA)

And i need to get it installed for him, but the script does not mention any thing about installation for the user..

Can any one guide me as to how do i proceed in this ?

You can try to install magento using cPanel but I'm not sure about the results:
    - first use wizard to create a mysql database and a user
    - download magento source and upload them in public_html (you can try to upload a zip arhive on filemanager or each file on FTP)
    - set folder permissions accourding to instructions
    - install from browser
