    hmm.. now this is a strange one, never ha this happen before.

    A customer created a subdomain with the prefix mail ( . They then deleted this sub-domain but that also deleted the Cname entry for the domain, and therefore stopped email from working correctly for that domain.

    Wonder if maybe that should be blocked from being possible at the source? Either by stopping users creating subdomains of mail or by not removing the cname entry if these subdomains get removed?

    anyone got any thoughts on this?

    nice idea. Temp fix can be editing the theme and add a request to users not to add X Y Z sub domains and mention if they still do we are not responsible for their account getting effected. ;)
