Mail and FTP

All users are complaing that it takes quite a while to login before they are able to FTP or check mail. I am guessing this has to do with reverse resolution of them. What can we do to fix this.

The fix

Edit /etc/resolv.conf


Seemed to fix all my problems in one :)

How to edit?

Changed it to like..

domain yourdomain.com
search yourdomain.com

nameserver 127.0.0.1
nameserver ipofyournameserver
nameserver ipofyourothernameserver


That should do the job :)

I though about changing the resolv.conf but didn't know if it would affec the cpanel/whm functionality.
