    Hello,
    When I try to send mails with large attachment to any of the accounts on the server, I get this error:
    552 message size exceeds fixed maximum size: 10485760

    1. I do not have a limit on the accounts I am sending the mail to

    2. I have added this to exim and restartd it but no difference:
    message_size_limit = 16384000

    return_size_limit = 65536

    Can someplease please tell me what I can do to fix this?

    Thanks so much

    Go on, have a guess
    Check in the exim_mainlog file for the actual error that is being generated.

    Then the message isn't coming from exim.

    So, where should I check for the problem?

    Well, if there's no error or message in the exim mainlog when that delivery attempt is made, then the problem could be on the sending server/client, or whereever the sending server things it is sending to.

    Hi and thanks for your help.
    I am sending the messages through Microsoft outlook and my smtp server is also the mail server I am trying to send emails to.
