Mail Bombing

    Any body knows how to prevent mail bombing in a cpanel server

    Ok

    ok, if some body trying to attempt mail bombing or spamming to my mail server how can i identify it from /var/log/mailog

    You need to check /var/log/exim_mainlog for that. You need to look for multiple RCPT failures, though these will only show up if you don't have your Default Address forwarded to another account, but have is set to :fail: instead.

    Exim

    ok, when i check my proccess in my system then i find exim is taking 99% of system resource,i quit that proccess but after some time it is coming back automatically,how can i fix this problem

    Same advice as before, you need to find out what is going on in your exim log files. If you don't understand how it works, then you should probably hire a system adminstrator to help you out.

    First up, thanks for your script, Chirpy.

    Even with it installed and the default account set to :fail: my server is still getting hammered, and high load is become an ongoing headache.

    Any ideas?
