Hello,

I'm trying to configure a cpanel server as a dedicated email server for a munch domains. Each will have seperate accounts. I'd like all users to use a specific host name for their email setup so they don't have to edit their mail settings if we move the server to a new location.

Is there a way to override the incoming and outgoing server configured in the "Mail Client Manual Settings" and "Mail Client Automatic Configuration Scripts" area?

The defaults are something like mail.example.com.

There will be no valid certificate for these entries on this server.

I'd like to make this be the primary hostname of the server since it will have a valid certificate.

Or a host of my choosing so users can get accurate information with valid certificate.

You cannot override this, it's created automatically and while in a future release it may be configurable at this time it is not.

Autodiscover will automatically choose the most suitable hostname with an SSL certificate which may make configuration a bit easier.
