mail forwarder cancellation in webmail

Hello there

I want to turn off the mail forwarders option only in the webmail login, not on the cpanel screen.

because we need to use this feature in cpanel. However, a forwarder is added for users whose password is broken by entering webmail without our knowledge. I want to prevent this. Email Domain Forwarding option in the features options section in whm does not suit us

Hey there @erdalgr - There currently is not a way to disable that just on the Webmail login page. If you wanted to see this happen, that would be a great feature request to submit using the link in my signature.

I managed to prevent this by putting condition in "/usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/paper_lantern/mail/addfwd.html.tt" via ssh

@erdalgr - that may work for now, but will likely get overwritten the next time a cPanel update changes that area of the system. If you want to have this permanently applied, you may want to look into creating a hook that runs after upcp to ensure this change gets applied: Manage Hooks | cPanel & WHM Documentation
