Is anyone aware of a cPanel bug in which the mail forwarders (we have around 130 of them going to a single inbox address within the same domain) would suddenly disappear?

Our host moved our site to another machine on the 18th. At that time we predictably lost some mail due to the DNS propegation factor, but the forwarders were intact, along with our autoresponders, etc.

Today (7/23) I discovered that somewhere around 6:30 pm on the 21st, we stopped getting most of the mail and I found that most of the forwarders were gone. Coincidentally (or not) I was asked to approve the certificate again even though I approved it after they transfered us to the new server, so I wonder if it's related to the newest cPanel update.

The host restored my forwarders from their backup, and acknowledged that it looks like a cPanel bug. I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen this, and if it's likely to happen again? The forwarders did not have their own inboxes, so of course the mail that they were supposed to relay is lost.

    Best regards,

    Doug

The only time I've seen something like that happen is if the account is near, at or over quota.

Thank you, Jonathan. I think I am well below my forwarder limit, but I will verify that with my host.

Sumith, thank you for your clue. I will forward it to the host to help them find the problem.

Ah, disk space. Well that's a different story.

Actually, we've used less than 10 percent of our disk quota.

I just saw the same thing for a client, He added a new forwarder and they all disappeared. Now we can't add new ones in. The disk quota is only at about 50%.
