I am checking to see if anyone has success with this.

I am running into the following problem:

When I enable the feature, mail sent from a script via a users account using sendmail or the phpmail function still comes from the main server's ip, instead of the account owners ip. I am running suexec and phpsuexec.

Has anyone else had this problem?

You will need to configure exim on the command line (sendmail is a symlink to exim) or PHP's configuration in order to send mail from the account's IP. The default configuration for both's mail functions are to send from localhost. Here's info about configuring php to send mail from something other than localhost:

Do you have any instructions on configuring it via the command line as you mentioned in your post?
