Mail Goes to Spam

    Hi:

    I recently installed the cpanel in my system ( centos 5.2) and it seems everything works fine except the Email .

    Whenever i sent the mail through squerilmail it goes to spam in Gmail and Yahoo .

    I don't know what the problem is ? can any help me to resolve this?

    Webmail clients like hotmail , AOL , Yahoo and some other do require to fulfill certain requirements , in which Reverse DNS and SPF records are one of the major things , the Reverse DNS for server's main IP should be inserted properly at the name servers.

    Create the abuse and postmaster email addresses on your domain as they also increase the rating for a domain with respect to mail acceptability.

    Also make sure that you are not using any autoresponders as they can also cause this problem , also make sure that your default address is set to :fail:.

    After these check and once the dns propagates for the spf records then try again to send email.
